Digg Isn’t Being Dug (As Much)

digg_small.jpgADOTAS – It seemed like Digg was having a pretty swell 2009 — in addition to increasing its user base and adding some killer features, the company announced it would launch its own ad network after a successful test run with a platform.

However, the final quarter of 2009 hasn’t rolled so smoothly as traffic peaked at 32 million unique visitors in September, according to comScore. Since then, visits have sloped 15% to 27 million November, which is half the number Twitter boasts.

Still, Digg can’t complain that traffic is up 62% year over year and the company has got a real-time ace up its sleeve that it’s likely to play in 2010.
