Quick hits: Goodbye, Cnn.com Live

punch_small.jpgADOTAS – It was an interesting experiment, at least — Time Warner has killed CNN.com Live and let go the four anchors featured on the live-anchored webcasts from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. each weekday. Apparently the service was costing far more than it was worth. In 2005 the service was originated as subscription only but was switched to an advertising-based free option. Time Warner is reportedly looking into more on-demand video services.

– In its latest attempt to woo display dollars, Google has introduced to DoubleClick DFA Analytics beta and a beta integration of Ad Planner within the DART for Advertisers platform. Like Google Analytics, DFA Analytics will offer easy-access campaign statistics, broken down by region, time period and operating system for starters. The Ad Planner integration will facilitate transitions between different DFA features while offering new ones for large agency buyers.
