Anchor Intelligence to sweep up online classifieds
ADOTAS – Whether online or print, classifieds have always been magnets for muck. However, as technology allows for better tracking of fraud, the online classifieds space is looking like a cleaner spot to advertise.
Anchor Intelligence will score online classifieds ad traffic for Oodle, whose platform is the muscle behind classifieds that appear on Facebook, MySpace and AOL. Oodle will employ Anchor’s ClearMark solution to assist in ad inventory optimization and traffic filtering, as well as protecting advertisers from click fraud.
Anchor has previously partnered with search engines such as Ask.com, Technorati and LookSmart, but this is its first partnership with a third-party classifieds platform. While previously applying various technologies to protect consumers and advertisers, Oodle is making a pretty big step for a classifieds operator by employing an optimization solution like ClearMark.
