Twitter Banned From Sports League

sports_small.jpgADOTAS – Not everyone is thrilled about Twitter. In fact, it seems a if the site is making any news its because of money or infamy. Apparently the professional sports leagues in North America have pushed through a ban on Twitter for all of the players in the NHL from using the site. This ban has already happened for the NBA and the NFL.

The ban will not only be for Twitter but also Facebook, the site’s major competitor. The ban will only be for 30 minutes before and after games, practices, meetings and media access periods. This ban will not only be for players but coaches, trainers and all game-related personnel, according to Reuters.
