Rocket Fuel has expanded its new office in New York City and hired Calton Chan as vice president of sales to support the company’s rapid growth following the formal launch of its Hybrid Ad Network last month. Chan will lead the New York sales team. Most recently, Chan held the position of vice president of sales at interCLICK. Prior to interCLICK, he was managing director, Eastern region, at BrightRoll. Earlier Chan was the vice president of agency sales at ContextWeb.
Interactive video company Ensequence continues to raise some big rounds: after a $40 million third round from an unidentified PE firm in 2007, it is now raising $22.5 million in a fourth round, and has raised about $14.5 million of it already from a single investor. [Paid Content]

LogicLab will focus on applying the quantitative disciplines of data-driven marketing to the media buying process of evaluating, optimizing and purchasing advertising. Leading the business as president is Christopher Wilson. He joins LogicLab from the position as president of Experian Research Services. Earlier, Wilson served as president and COO at Simmons Research.
