ADOTAS — Nielsen, AppNexus, Turn and EyeWonder all had annoucements recently.
AppNexus, a company that provides online advertising via a cloud computing platform, has named former Google and DoubleClick executive Michael Rubenstein president.
The Nielsen Company has acquired KoreanClick, the leading Web measurement company in South Korea. Terms were not disclosed. KoreanClick, launched in 2000, employs proprietary technology to measure Internet usage and attitude data, including audience measurement and for applications such as instant messaging, gaming and online multimedia. Their clients include Internet companies, as well as advertisers and ad agencies.
Turn, the smart platform for digital advertising, has elevated president and chief operating officer, Bill Demas, to the position of chief executive officer as part of the company’s long-term succession plan. Jim Barnett, the company’s co-founder and CEO who led the company since its inception, will continue as Chairman.
EyeWonder, a digital advertising technologies and services company, has appointed Kenny Spangberg as its Regional Sales Director, Nordic region. Spangberg brings years of experience in sales and interactive technology to EyeWonder’s globally expanding operations. Most recently the Nordic Manager of Media Platforms at Google, Spangberg has also worked as Head of Sales at REDear Interactive and as Key Account Manager at Kelkoo/Yahoo.
