House Party, a consumer activation and experiential marketing company, has hired Peter Storck as Senior Vice President of Community and Analytics. Prior to joining House Party, Storck founded and led Points North Group. Previous to that Storck served as president of Jupiter Research. Earlier in his seven years at Jupiter, he was senior vice president of research, and before that, launched and directed the firm’s online advertising practice.

Sonasoft, a provider of fully integrated and automated solutions for archiving, data backup and recovery solutions for the SMB market, has named Bruce Serpa has been named Vice President of Sales. Previously, Mr. Serpa served as Director of North American Sales and Strategic Alliances for i365, a Seagate Technology company. In addition, Serpa held positions Calluna Technology, Siemens, and Tandberg Data.

Online gaming firm Conduit Labs has raised $3 million in a second round of funding, per an SEC filing. The startup raised $5.5. million in funding from Charles River Ventures and Prism VentureWorks in mid-2007. [Paid Content]

Cheil USA hired Ian Baer as chief strategy officer. Before coming to Cheil USA, Baer was president of Big Fuel Communications, the New York-based marketing company. In addition to his leadership role at Big Fuel Communications, Baer has also held senior leadership positions at iCrossing, TBWA, Deutsch, Rapp Collins and JWT.
