Karl Siebrecht, who was president of Atlas until parent company aQuantive was purchased by Microsoft is leaving Microsoft to join AdReady as the display advertising startup’s president. [AllThingsD]

Oyster Hotel Reviews — a three-month-old hotel reviews site — has raised $4 million in funding from Bain Capital. The startup will use the new cash to expand its coverage to include several West coast cities. Oyster has raised a total of $10.4 million, including $6.4 million it raised in March 2008. The Rubicon Project, the Internet advertising infrastructure company, has appointed AOL’s Oli Whitten to oversee and develop relationships with the leading online advertising networks across Europe. Reporting to VP and GM International, Jay Stevens, Whitten will manage an account team tasked with growing relationships with online advertising networks and continuing to build the yield they deliver for publishers working with the Rubicon Project.

DoubleVerify, which provides online media verification for online advertising transactions, has hired Miles Dennison as Senior Vice President of Sales, a newly created position based in the company’s New York headquarters. He previously worked at Tremor Media as Vice President of Sales.
