ADOTAS — Tribal Fusion, AdMeld, Decision Maker Media, Appssavvy and Open Amplify had some announcements.
AdMeld, an ad network optimization for premium publishers, has partnered with Pandora, an Internet radio and music discovery service. During Q209, AdMeld’s optimization technology generated a 95% increase in Pandora’s yield from discretionary ad inventory and a significant reduction in operational burdens.
Appssavvy, a direct sales team for the social media space, promoted Vida Mylson to vice president of East Coast sales for the company. She previously served for more than a year as East Coast sales director working with a number of agencies and brands including Absolut Vodka, Coca-Cola, Heineken, Lufthansa, St. Martin’s Press and Wyeth’s ChapStick. Prior to appssavvy, Vida’s media experience included stints at Undertone Networks and Newspapers First, managing both interactive and print in the national automotive vertical. She also spent seven years at Time Warner Media
Tribal Fusion, a digital marketing solutions company, has unveiled its Sales Impact solution which enables Consumer Packaged Goods marketers to use advanced analytics to measure the effect of online advertising on offline purchasing decisions. The Sales Impact solution enables companies to perform longitudinal views of all-outlet consumer purchasing behavior. Ads can be served according to recent purchases to provide a more customized experience, increasing the likelihood of conversion. Campaigns also benefit from the macro view that Tribal Fusion develops by gathering data and understanding behavior across larger groups based on demographics such as geography, purchasing behavior, and other factors.
Decision Maker Media, an online business-to-business advertising platform, has completed a seed round investment of under $1M from angel investors and Germany based, Mueller Media. The DMM platform connects Fortune 1000 advertisers with a targeted audience of top-level managers, and business owners.
OpenAmplify, a Web service that can identify sentiment and guidance from text, has appointed Glen Kushner as VP of Sales and Business Development, expanding OpenAmplify’s New York presence. Kushner, who was previously the VP of Business Development at social media platform provider Treemo Labs, will help support OpenAmplify’s push into online advertising and social media targeting.
