ADOTAS — Burst Media, isocket, Orange France Telecom Group, UNANIMIS and Definition 6 all had annoucements.
The Orange France Telecom Group has acquired 100% of UNANIMIS, the UK’s largest exclusive digital advertising network. Terms were not disclosed. According to the company, through the combination of UNANIMIS’s premium advertising network and Orange’s mobile and web assets, advertisers, buyers and media agencies will be able to reach over 71.5% of the UK’s online population and over 66% of the online population across UK, France, Spain and Poland.
isocket, which charges monthly fees – not commissions – for its ad platform, closed on a $2 million round of seed funding. Investors include Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Blumberg Capital, SoftTech VC and Founders Fund Angel.
Definition 6, an online ad agency, has acquired the assets of Creative Bubble, a video editorial, design, sound and production company, deepening agency’s ability to provide rich media services for challenger brands and market leaders. Terms were not disclosed. The Creative Bubble acquisition comes one month after Definition 6 announced it had secured up to $15 million in private equity investment and planned to expand through organic growth and the acquisition of two to three agencies through the end of 2010.
Burst Media has hired David Perry as Vice President of Sales for its performance marketing division Burst Direct. Prior to joining Burst, David spent nine years as Vice President of Sales at BuyerZone, a division of Reed Business Information (RBI). David will be based at Burst’s home office in Burlington, Massachusetts.
