MySpace moving toward online gaming

myspace_small.jpgADOTAS — Jon Miller, head of News Corp, gave another glimpse into the MySpace strategy, which is now about focusing on entertainment and music.

MySpace has a younger audience and appears to have given up beating Facebook. It wasn’t surprising that at a Pasadena, CA conference, Miller said while the social network will have some premium content, it will survive on advertising. He also said there will be a push for more online gaming on the site. (Wonder if News Corp will be kicking the tires on Yahoo Games?)

I hope CEO Miller correctly predicted a nearly threefold increase in online advertising.
