ADOTAS — Adgregate Markets, Linkstorm, 2ergo, Brand.net, Networked Insights, Definition 6 and SpectrumDNA made some annoucements.
Definition 6, a full-service interactive marketing and eCommerce agency, launched TwitterINGO, a gaming application developed for Twitter. The desktop application is similar to BINGO and is complete with 25 keywords on a board. TwitterINGO displays tweets from people that players follow and the board is automatically updated when a keyword is included in an incoming tweet.
Adgregate Markets, a provider of transactional-based advertising technology has announced a strategic partnership with Linkstorm to become the only ecommerce solution integrated into Linkstorm’s Banner Xpander. Adgregate’s ShopAds will become an innovative addition to Linkstorm’s Banner Xpander offering. ShopAds will enable Linkstorm to integrate e-commerce transactions into any Banner Xpander campaign, allowing consumers to browse, interact with, and purchase products directly within the ad unit.
Networked Insights, a social media and customer intelligence company, released its next-generation social media listening platform, SocialSense 2.0. The new version offers users the ability to find online target audiences faster and searches a greater amount of data with its improved high-volume analytics. SocialSense 2.0 identifies emerging concepts and topics of conversation that can’t be found with keyword searches and allows users to shape messaging, advertising placement, client pitches and strategy around those findings. The updated dashboard delivers actionable insights about content, consumer behavior and the demographics of social networks.
2ergo, an international provider of mobile enabling technology, has just announced its acquisition of UK headquartered Activemedia Technologies Group (AMT) – a global provider of mobile ticketing and couponing solutions (AMT UK) and India’s top ranking mobile marketing and value added services company serving India and South East Asia (AMT India). No terms were disclosed.
SpectrumDNA has signed a contract with the New York Post to license its Addictionary, a SaaS user-generated dictionary that lets people create their own words and definitions. Set to debut in August, the New York Addictionary will serve as an engine to increase key metrics of user engagement including page views, time spent on site, frequency of visits, viral and word-of-mouth distribution and premium ad and sponsorship inventory.
Brand.net, an ad network, hired Cindy Panchula as Vice President of Finance. Panchula joins Brand.net from Goldman Sachs, where she spent more than 10 years, most recently as Vice President in Equity Capital Markets and Technology, Media and Telecom investment banking. During her tenure at Goldman Sachs, Panchula led IPOs for technology companies including Baidu, Shopping.com, DataDomain and VistaPrint and executed M&A transactions for companies including eBay, Hotwire and National Semiconductor.
