We’ve been working hard on Titanium and are getting ready to make another big product announcement. We could certainly dish the details now, but an announcement this monumental really deserves a big party. And that’s exactly what we’re going to do. 



On Tuesday June 9th, the Appcelerator team will be throwing a product launch shindig at Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference to toast the arrival of Titanium Beta. Join us at Jillian’s in San Francisco between 6 and 9 p.m. where we’ll unveil Titanium Beta along with The Big Surprise. Come have a cold one on us with myself, Nolan and our lead Titanium developers. Watch some exclusive never-seen-before demos. Chill with your peers. Enjoy the festive atmosphere. And you know it wouldn’t be an Appcelerator party without door prizes and commemorative Appcelerator t-shirts. 

Jillian’s is located right across the street from Moscone Center West where Apple’s WWDC will be going down. Just let us know that you heard about the party on this blog and we’ll let you in. 



These are exciting times for Web developers and Appcelerator is looking to make things a lot more exciting really soon. Join us on June 9th at Jillian’s to celebrate Titanium Beta’s arrival! 



P.S. Don’t worry, if you’re not attending this year’s WWDC or outside of the Bay Area, we’ll be doing plenty of tweeting, blogging, taking pictures and doing video around the event that we’ll share after the party.

• Right now, at the beginning of 2012, what are you watching the most closely for its ad and marketing opportunities?

  • Mobile. Smart devices have become standard, and advertising is only going to become more creative there.
  • Online video. It's a real competitor to TV now, and it presents really interesting ways to engage viewers.
  • Social media. The new Facebook timeline and the surge of Google+ have cracked the game wide open again.
  • Tempting as it might be, I don't want to get too involved in one aspect.
  • See, I think this might be a good time to see what would happen if we revisited MySpace, but made the ads slightly bigger... with more strobe effect.
