jobs_small.jpgADOTAS — The in-text advertising company has hired Bob Hammond as senior vice president for technology.

Hammond, previously vice president of engineering for the Video Syndication Platforms Group at Yahoo, will be responsible for running Vibrant’s business systems, algorithms, technical operations, database administration and product management. Vibrant also announced that longtime Yahoo engineer Brian Acton will join Vibrant’s Advisory Board to provide counsel and expertise as Vibrant scales its contextual technologies.

Hammond joined Yahoo when the company acquired the video publishing platform, Maven Networks. At Yahoo!, he was responsible for the design and development of video services for Yahoo properties. In a related note, Valleywag points to an potential exodus of engineers at Yahoo Video, after a wave of layoffs last week that devastated the team.

And for another personnel move at Tumri, it has announced it hired former Platform-A SVP Michael Peralta as its chief revenue officer. He joins CFO Jeff McCombs, formerly Yahoo SVP for business operations, who was hired a few months ago.
