Peer39 raises $10.5 million

deal.jpgADOTAS — The semantic ad technology provider has closed on $10.5 million in Series C round funding.

The round was led by Israeli VC Evergreen Venture Partners and was joined by the company’s existing investors Canaan Partners, Dawntreader Ventures, Silicon Valley Bank, and JP Morgan.

Peer39 provides semantic advertising solutions, based on natural language analysis technology, for web publishers and advertisers. With research and technology based on the principles of natural language processing and machine learning, Peer39’s offers advertisers online content that matches their message to consumers.

The company, founded in Israel in 2006, has raised $22 million so far.
