Lyris acquires longtime partner Facultas

marketing_small.jpgADOTAS — The marketing technology company has aquired Facultas, a full-service email marketing agency based in the UK.

No terms were disclosed. With the acquisition, Lyris has expanded its global footprint and ability to extend full-service offerings to multinational customers. Lyris will be opening a new office in central London. Donna McNicholas, who was recently named the Lyris UK sales director, will lead the London sales team. Andrew Robinson, former managing director and owner of Facultas, will assume the position of Lyris’ director of international professional services.

“We have seen tremendous momentum for our Lyris HQ integrated marketing suite in the US and recognize a large opportunity in the European market for a SaaS-based, online marketing solution,” Luis Rivera, CEO, Lyris, said in a statement. “The services expertise of the Facultas team combined with new executive talent in the UK provides Lyris with a strong presence in Europe and will afford extended resources and market knowledge to new and existing Lyris customers worldwide.”
