Fuel Industries:

Bruce Sinclair was named as Chief Creative Officer. The former Creative and Art Director at DDB and TBWA will lead the creative and strategic process for Fuel’s client projects, and help expand the direction of Fuel’s advertising team.

Fuel’s recently announced satellite expansion in Los Angeles will be led by the agency’s co-founder Jeff Doiron, who will be moving to California with his family to grow Fuel’s newest office.

Warren Tomlin, having served as Chief Creative Offer since 2007, will step in to fill the role of President.

Neo@Ogilvy:

John Anagnost was named to the newly created position of global director, search marketing services. Anagnost has spent the past five years at OgilvyInteractive’s Digital Strategy group, most recently as interactive marketing director. Prior to joining OgilvyInteractive, Anagnost was a senior director of digital strategy consulting at Modem Media and Digitas for six years. He also held senior technology and management consulting positions at General Electric and Ernst & Young.

Dapper:

Vish Makhijani has joined Dapper’s Board of Advisors. He is President and CEO of Yandex Labs. Prior to joining Yandex in 2008, Mr. Makhijani was SVP and General Manager of the Yahoo Search Group. Before that, Mr. Makhijani held various executive roles in Yahoo’s Search and Advertising units in both domestic and international capacities

KARMA Media Labs:

JP Clement has been named EVP Strategy and Analytics with KARMA Media Labs, a social media marketing and advisory agency. He previously served as VP Strategy and Analytics at Fanscape.

Intouch Solutions:

Mary Doherty, Vice President of Client Services. She contributes over 18 years of integrated marketing experience with an expertise in healthcare marketing. The programs Doherty has lead cross multiple channels including direct response, digital, experiential and WOM marketing. Her healthcare experience ranges from prescription and OTC medications to biotech for some of the world’s major healthcare companies.

Steve Wright, Senior Director of Development. Prior to joining, he was leading the practice management group at VML, Inc. in Kansas City, and has also held positions as the director of technology for Studiocom in Atlanta and CTO of Good Technology in London, England.

Barker/DZP:

John Lu was hired as vice president and director of interactive. Mr. Lu comes to Barker/DZP from Crispin, Porter + Bogusky where he was the agency’s lead interaction designer, responsible for the Microsoft account. Prior to that Mr. Lu was senior interaction designer for Digitas. Previously, Mr. Lu was an interaction designer at ESI Design, where clients included Sesame Workshop, Best Buy and the Whitney Museum.

AMG Advertising and Public Relations:

Dave Urso, strategic account planner, brings over 35 years of medical and healthcare marketing, sales and management experience to AMG. Mr. Urso has worked with physicians, engineers, scientists, hospitals, government entities and other stakeholders to develop, promote and launch products and services for Cordis, a Johnson & Johnson Company.

Sapient:

Sapient Interactive group has been named the interactive agency of record for KeyCorp, one of the nation’s largest bank-based financial services companies, with assets of approximately $105 billion. As the interactive agency for KeyCorp, Sapient is delivering strategy, creative, technology and media services designed to connect KeyBank with consumers and businesses in new and innovative ways, including the microsite, “Money Needs Attention,” which launched in the fall of 2008.

Slightly Mad Communications:

New York advertising executive Paul Levine has joined forces with Sidewalk Design’s Dawn Amato to launch Slightly Mad Communications, a full-service advertising agency headquartered in Northport, New York.
