Adgregate Markets’ ShopAds available on DoubleClick
ADOTAS — The transactional advertising company’s technology will now be available to Doubleclick’s advertisers.
Adgregate Markets’ ShopAds widget enables DoubleClick and their clients to integrate e-commerce into any banner ad campaign to allow consumers to browse, interact, and purchase directly within an ad unit. ShopAds allow brands to build a network of syndicated e-commerce partners through paid media and social networks.
The ShopAds widget will allow traditional banner ads to become fully transactional e-commerce ad units. Customers can securely purchase any product from within ShopAds, without ever needing to click away to another website. A user can click on the description button under the ad and click “add to cart” to buy it. The user can pay through the widget by using their credit card. By teaming with Adgregate Markets, DoubleClick will have access to a platform that allows their advertisers to expand their e-commerce strategy beyond the reaches of existing online retail channels.
Adgregate will share revenue with DoubleClick and the retailer whose goods are being sold in the ShopAd widget. But the publisher of the ad only gets a share of revenue if the retailer has accepted them as an affiliate publisher. If that is the case, then the publisher will also get a separate commission fee from the advertiser.
