Google allows disappearing ads

googlesucks_small.jpgADOTAS — Google is showing the icon from SearchWiki besides ad headlines now.

SearchWiki lets you customize your Google Web Search results by ranking, removing, and adding notes to them.

But according to the SERP help page:

“Don’t like a result?
Click [X] to remove it, and it’ll remain hidden whenever you do the same search in the future.”

Rehan asks if it hides all ad variations for that domain for “the same search in the future,” and if is the QS or rank of an ad affected if the user has hidden ads for other keywords? Also, wonders if this is an experimental feature.
