Obama revolution will be televised…twittered, flickr’d, live streamed..

online_video_small.jpgADOTAS — As befits the Obama Internet generation, every device, portal, application, social media site and boring all television will be wall-to-wall Obama tomorrow.

Twitter is upping its capacity and will screen for the best tweets. How’s that allowing the crowd to speak, I don’t have any idea. (Do you think you’ll see any negative tweets? I don’t either).

Flickr is hosting a Washington Meetup to see…uhm…what the people just saw, but then they can start crowing about how they were there. (Which really doesn’t make a difference. Because the Woodstock principle will be in effect. The millions will become the tens of millions who were there.)

Facebook and CNN is putting together some virtual party. This doesn’t include the mobile live streaming opportunities.

I’m old. I will sit in front of a big plasma television set, with chips and beer on the side. Turn up the sound and watch history, hitting the mute button when Obama is not talking. There is nothing like listening to talking that could screw up even the best moments.

If only they would play the inauguration at noon Pacific time so us commuters don’t get caught in the car missing the highly anticipated video footage.

I’ll try catching it at SodaHead, where I can discuss with others and vote on related political polls:
