Admeld Unveils New Platform, Brings in Fox Exec as CEO
ADOTAS – Online advertising optimization shop AdMeld has snagged Fox Interactive’s erstwhile EVP and CRO Michael Barrett to serve as its CEO. In addition, AdMeld has announced the launch of a new platform for publishers that is said will maximize revenue from digital ad networks and ad exchanges.
The platform has been gestating in an eight-month beta program. It aims to leverage dynamic pricing, advanced targeting, and industry best practices to effectively route inventory from publishers to generate the highest revenue for each ad served.
AdMeld also hopes the platform will iron out the inevitable complications that result from using a gaggle of networks and exchanges.
“AdMeld removes complications when dealing with multiple networks and exchanges,” Benjamin Barokas, co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer of AdMeld said. “No longer do publishers have to deal with disparate tags, interfaces, and conflicting statistics. Our platform increases yield while reducing the resources needed to pull reports, evaluate data, and re-prioritize campaigns in a traditional ad server.”
The company also completed its first round of funding, raking in $7 million from Spark Capital and the Foundry Group.
AdMeld was founding in 2007 and its major investors include Spark Capital and the Foundry Group.
