Hiring Round-Up: Gigya, WidgetBucks, JumpTap, Asianada
ADOTAS – Gigya has named David Yovanno, erstwhile media business head for ValueClick, as its CEO. Yovanno replaces Eyal Magen, Gigya’s co-founder and CEO. Magen will become Gigya’s chief strategy officer.
WidgetBucks has brought Jeff Bergstrom on board as CFO. Bergstrom’s 18-year financial career includes extensive involvement with technology and Internet startups. He has managed multi-billion-dollar acquisitions and mergers, facilitated private equity transactions, and navigated business finances during tough macro-economic times. Most recently Bergstrom was CFO of The PowerTech Group, a security software products firm that recently sold to a portfolio company of the Audax Group.
Dennis Arndt has been tapped as JumpTap’s VP of engineering. He’ll be in charge of mobile search and ad solutions. He hails from Monster Worldwide, where he was VP of global engineering.
Online publishing/performance marketing shop Asianada hired Jeffrey Schwartz as its chairman and CEO. Previously, he was president and CEO of both Autobytel and Autoweb, automotive marketing services companies. Most recently, Mr. Schwartz was founder and managing partner of Vertical Passion Media, LLC, a media and marketing services company building advertising and lead generation assets.
