GlobalSpec’s Spa Promo is a Hit
ADOTAS — Vertical search engine GlobalSpec recently launched a sweepstakes contest on ADOTAS that aimed to reach media professionals and buyers by offering them a free day at the spa or a shopping spree at the Apple Store. GlobalSpec wanted to give back to all of the hard-working members of the online advertising industry who constantly create contests and promos, but can’t reap the benefits of actually entering the contests themselves.
The lucky winner, Debbie Solomon, a senior partner and research director at MindShare, said she never actually expected to win when she entered GlobalSpec’s contest.
“I was very surprised – and delighted to see how generous GlobalSpec is,” Solomon said, alluding to the sizable $5,000 spa certificate. “It’s such a nice thing to be able to share it with people. I invited my group into a meeting – without telling them what it was about – and then passed out spa menus and told them the good news. Everyone is so excited to go and really treat themselves. My team and I want to personally thank GlobalSpec and Adotas for running the contest.”
The lucky winners (pictured above), from left to right, are Lorraine Bittman, Luanne Munizzi, Debbie Solomon, Debbie Burnette, Barbara Scherer, Karen Garwood, Adam Weiler, Tricia Eahart, Henry Webster, Delilah Washington and Amy Stojetz.
