Funding Round-Up: Blip.tv, Brightstorm, Movidia

expensivebling.jpgADOTAS – Online television network blip.tv has closed a second round of funding (undisclosed) led by Bain Capital Ventures. (Bain also helps fund LinkedIn, Thumbplay, The Find, Tokbox and LaLa Media). Blip.tv previously closed its first roun of funding in June of 2007 with Ambient Sound Investments.

Online education site Brightstorm has reeled in $6 million in its first round of funding. Venture capital firm KTB supplied the funding, which will reportedly be used to launch an online learning network.

Movidia has raised $14 million in its first round of funding, led by Celtic House Venture Partners and Capital-E.
