AOL Sued Over Email Ads

legal13.jpgADOTAS – AOL is being sued for “annoying” and “misleading” email ads by a California resident, MediaPost reports.

Frank Cecchini filed the complaint in a Los Angeles federal district court. Cecchini claims that paying AOL $25.90 per month for its email service should preclude him from receiving emails with ads.

The plaintive is seeking class-action status, MediaPost reports. He is seeking more than $5 million in damages.
