Pixsy Unveils Video Search Playback Platform
ADOTAS – Private label video and image search shop Pixsy Corp. has announced that Pixsy VSP is now available to any Web site or app.
Once welcomed into the Pixsy Network, publishers will be able to build rich applications that enable what is says is the largest collection of playable videos from unique content sources to be played directly on the publisher’s site.
“The enhanced Pixsy API with video playback capabilities immediately positions Pixsy as a significant player in the online video syndication business, an incredibly competitive sector,” said Carla Thompson, senior analyst at Guidewire Group. “We expect this new offering to drive increased adoption of Pixsy’s Media Search Platform among major online publishers.”
Pixsy was founded in 2005 by a team of leading technologists from Microsoft Corp. Pixsy powers video and image search experiences for some of the Internet’s leading brands including Travelocity, Lycos, National Lampoon, and Infospace.
