Hiring Round-Up: BBC, Digitas, Format, MARS
ADOTAS – BBC Worldwide has officially confirmed that it has snagged Chris Dobson from Microsoft U.K.’s online service group. Dobson is the EVP and general manager of global ad sales for BBC Worldwide.
Digitas announced that Jim Christie has joined the global interactive marketing firm as senior vice president, creative. He will report to Lincoln Bjorkman, executive creative director of Digitas New York, and will be responsible for driving creative brand building strategies and oversee creative for web site design work across the New York office. Christie joins Digitas from Adobe Systems where he was worldwide creative director of brand strategy.
Digital ad serving company Format Dynamics has hired two regional sales directors to help drive the company’s growth across the country. Julie Kennedy joins as West Coast Regional Sales Director, overseeing sales and advertiser/agency relationships throughout the western region. Most recently Kennedy handled sales and marketing for Zango, where she launched and led Zango’s Los Angeles sales office. Janae Redmond joins as East Coast Regional Sales Director, in order to forge relationships with agencies and advertisers in the region. Redmond joins the company from DRIVEpm, where she was Client Relationship Manager for the mid-Atlantic and New York territories.
Shopper marketing agency MARS Advertising announced that Timothy Goeglein has joined the Cincinnati office as vice president and retail channel marketing director. Goeglein joins MARS after an extensive sales and marketing career in the retail food industry, including 20 years with Kraft Foods. Additionally, the company has promoted Bill Haveron to retail channel marketing director on The Kroger Co. channel team. He had been channel manager.
