stethoscope2.jpgADOTAS – Startup ZocDoc, created to simplify scheduling doctor’s appointments online, received a $3 million influx in series A financing from Khosla Ventures. ZocDoc allows patients to book appointments and search for practitioners by type and insurance.

The company has about 30,000 users and is growing its base by 50% a month. Patients can use the service for free, but doctors have to pay to be listed.
