Tiffany’s Tries To Take Down eBay

legal13.jpgADOTAS – American Jewelry Company Tiffany & Co. said on Monday that the firm has appealed a court ruling that indicated eBay Inc was not responsible for policing fake Tiffany jewelry sold on the site, reports Reuters.

In 2004, eBay was sued by the jeweler, saying the site was not properly monitored and nothing was done in regard to the fake merchandise being sold on the eBay site. The trademark infringement claims have been rejected and the company has been held ultimately accountable for protecting its own trademark.
