Study: Mobile Big Player in Olympic Games

mobiletv.jpgADOTAS – The Olympic games are kicking off today and almost half of U.S. mobile video users will watch the Olympics on their phone, according a study released by Nielsen Mobile.The study found that 44.7% of mobile video users and 22.6% of mobile Internet users in the U.S. will watch the games, compared to 31.3% and 17.2% of mobile video and Internet users in the U.K.

Medal Counts (44.3%)
TV Schedule (43.7%)

The top draws on mobile video in the U.S.:

Gymnastics (61.7%)
Swimming/Diving (58.5%)
Track and Field (54.4%)
