RIP: Yahoo’s Mash
ADOTAS – Yahoo is shutting down its social networking experiment, Yahoo Mash, after only a year in operation. The site was in private beta and will officially close its doors on Sept. 29.
It’s unclear why they’re shutting it down (though observers have been pointing out since its inception that it doesn’t offer anything new or interesting) or how many users it has. Last year, Yahoo closed another social experiment called Mixd a few months after its launch.
