Ralph Lauren Launches Mobile Shopping Site

fashionista2.jpgADOTAS – Swish, swish, tap, tap. Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. is getting ready to outfit on-the-go fashionistas with mobile shopping options. Polo is the first luxe destination to start a mobile commerce site in America.
As of now, only about 3% of Americans have bought anything via a cell phone – but Ralph Lauren is banking that the growing mobile shopping trend in Japan will make its way to the States.

The preppy outfitter will advertise the service in its catalogues this month – which incidentally, can be scanned onto most phones, allowing on-the-spot purchases.
