Hires: Marchex, Bebo, Agency.com, ThisNext
ADOTAS – Marchex Inc., a local search and ad shop, has named Sloan Seymour, vice president of Marchex Adhere; Ed O’Keefe, vice president of Performance Marketplaces; Brooks McMahon, vice president of Partner Development and promoted Leigh McMillan to senior vice president, Marketing and Communications.
Seymour was previously president and CEO of Ziff-Davis Enterprise/Media; O’Keefe was the director of product management and innovation at R.H. Donnelley; McMahon was at Getty Images and McMillan was vice president of marketing at Marchex.
Social networking site Bebo has brought Sean Kane on board as global head of mobile. Prior to Bebo, Kane was general manager, international, at Intercasting Corporation.
Agency.com has named Geoff De Weaver as its director of business development. De Weaver has worked for a gaggle of agencies, including Ogilvy & Mather Direct and Ammirati Puris Lintas.
ThisNext has promoted Scott Morrow from president to CEO. Co-founder and previous CEO Gordon Gould will continue as executive chairman and the public face of ThisNext, while Morrow takes the reins as the day-to-day operations leader.
