Good roundup, thanks Peter.

As the marketing director of Offerpal Media, I just wanted to clarify that it was probably Julie Craft who made those comments about "the party's started" at the Interplay Social Gaming Conference. There's actually no Karen Green here at Offerpal.

Also, I beg to differ about your claim that $uper Rewards is the industry leader in monetizing virtual currency. In more ways than one, that title belongs to Offerpal. If you want to base it on the statement that they're paying out more than $2 million per month to app developers, well, we pay out significantly more than that -- try two to three times more.

As the Web's first "Managed Offer Platform" for social applications, Offerpal Media has been around longer than $R, works with more publishers and generates more revenue. We're on Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, hi5 and other leading social networks, and we even power several niche and second-tier social nets at the platform level.

I certainly agree with your prediction that payouts to developers could eclipse the $100 million mark in the next 12 months. In fact, don't be surprised if we eclipse that all by ourselves!
