Mogulus Scores $10M From Gannett

expensivebling.jpgADOTAS – Another old media giant has stepped in to fund new media: Live-video service Mogulus has reportedly raised $10 million in funding from newspaper titan Gannett.

The two companies have worked together for a few months now, and the funding is an extension of their relationship.

Mogulus’ an ad-supported free service allows anyone with a camera and a computer to live stream online. Its competitors include Justin.tv, Kyte and Ustream. Mogulus’ claim to fame is the revelation of Hillary Clinton’s now notorious remarks about the Robert Kennedy assassination in 1968. (An interview with Clinton from Gannett paper the Argus Leader, based in Sioux Falls, S.D., was recorded and live-streamed on Mogulus).
