Hires, Departures: LimeLight, PointRoll and More
ADOTAS – Content delivery network LimeLight has announced that CFO Matthew Hale will be leaving at the end of this year – the company is currently searching for a replacement. While the company did not say why Hale was leaving (the usual “spend more time with the fam” was even omitted). However, LimeLight has been struggling since it became public with financial reporting issues. Don’t whip out the hankies yet though: Hale will receive his salary ($275,000) for a year after his leave-taking.
PointRoll, a subsidiary of Gannett Co., and a provider of rich media tech solutions, has announced that Kenneth Graffeo will join the company as COO. Graffeo will supervise all marketing and communication for the company and will be responsible for its overall growth strategy, marketing and operational effectiveness. Previously, he was the executive vice president of HD Strategic Marketing at Universal Studios.
Space Exploration Technologies Corp., a launch services provider, has brought Diane Murphy on board as vice president of marketing and communications. She will run all aspects of marketing for the company, including strategic planning, advertising, video and Web content. Murphy hails from Northrop Grumman Corp. where she headed up communications for their space technology sector.
The Italian American Network, a freshly minted ad-supported, multi-platform media company, has appointed Patrick Peters as its senior vice president of business development and marketing. Prior to this post, Peters held executive positions at Unilever for 33 years.
