Giant Realm Grows Out of Videogames
ADOTAS – Giant Realm just keeps getting bigger: today, the online media company that targets men in the 18-34 demo, announced that it signed exclusive rep deals with four new sites. Always Watching, Geeks of Doom, MEGATONik and RockPaperShotgun both expands its film/TV audience and helps boost its already leading position in the videogame world.
“Giant Realm is no longer synonymous with just videogaming,” said Keith Kane, co-founder and SVP, sales and marketing, Giant Realm. “We now reach millions of movie and television fans, by taking the same approach we first took with videogame audiences … by tapping into highly focused communities where they spend much of their time online. What this means for marketers is that they can now reach these fragmented audiences, with scale, through Giant Realm.”
Combined, the four sites attract more than half a million visitors a month – and with the new sites, Giant Realm’s monthly audience will surpass 19.5 million, the company said, citing Google Analytics.
The company exclusively represents all websites that are part of the Giant Realm Publisher Group and offers its publishers the ability to monetize 100% of their ad inventory. Giant Realm’s shareholders include SoftBank Capital, Comcast Interactive Capital, the William Morris Agency and Edison Venture Fund.
