AdReady Partners With WhitePages.com
ADOTAS – Online display advertising company AdReady has announced a partnership with WhitePages.com, the leading site to find and connect with people. WhitePages will use AdReady to assist marketers with smaller budgets who want to grow their businesses with display ads, but can’t afford some of the pricier placements. Small businesses will be able to run campaigns for as little as $50 a day, the company said.
“WhitePages.com receives a significant number of inquiries from budget conscious, smaller scale advertisers every month,” said Ingrid Michelsen, Director of Advertising Strategy for WhitePages.com. “Like many other major national online advertising platforms, we don’t have the bandwidth to sell, traffic and optimize banner ad campaigns for smaller advertisers. We are very pleased to work with AdReady to deliver an automated advertising solution for those customers, allowing them access to a highly serviceable sub-set of the online marketing tools traditionally available only to our advertisers with large budgets.”
AdReady said the partnership with WhitePages marks a first for the company: “This is the first time we’ve simultaneously launched a publisher partner’s co-branded platform in addition to making their inventory available through our direct service at AdReady.com,” Jamie Lomas, VP of sales and strategic partnerships for AdReady, told ADOTAS. “On www.adready.com, an advertiser can choose to run campaigns via Google, Right Media, Yahoo and other publishers, including Whitepages.com. This gives Whitepages.com even more exposure to smaller businesses that want to run display campaigns.”
Display is the way to go for smaller advertisers who are eager for exposure, Lomas said.
“Internet users spend 5% of their time online searching, and 95% of their time on sites that traditionally serve display ads,” he remarked. “AdReady is currently focused on display because there is an enormous amount of inventory that is not being properly monetized because of the barriers that exist for smaller marketers. The AdReady system breaks down the barriers to entry for smaller businesses by eliminating the costs to build effective creative, set up targeted display campaigns for budgets of every size, and providing the tools to allow these marketers to make improvements to their campaigns in real time. Smaller businesses can often justify paying higher rates to reach very targeted audiences, which is a huge value to publishers that want to monetize their inventory with relevant advertisers.”
The product was created to provide online marketers with creative intelligence and access to a database of customizable display ads – and tweak them at any time if their creatives aren’t delivering the performance they’re aiming for.
AdReady, Inc. was founded in 2006 by a team of Internet veterans to transform the way businesses advertise online. Headquartered in Seattle, AdReady is backed by Bain Capital Ventures, Khosla Ventures and Madrona Venture Group
