Minyanville To Bring Ad-Supported Videos to Phones
ADOTAS – Financial media company Minyanville Publishing and Multimedia is banding together with Rhythm NewMedia to distribute “Minayanville’s World in Review” video content to mobile phones.
The free animated short videos will be offered up to viewers with other bite-sized pieces of video in exchange for a short pre or post-roll video advertisement. Content includes episodes of a humorous take on Wall Street — “Hoofy & Boo’s” — starring a Bull and a Bear.
Rhythm, a provider of turnkey mobile advertising solutions, will provide targeted ads based on demographic data collected; the company sells and serves the ads.
“Minyanville is poised for growth and this move into the mobile arena is a big step,” said Todd Harrison, founder and CEO, Minyanville, in a release. “We understand that it is beneficial to have financial information at your fingertips and this arrangement enables mobile phones to access Hoofy & Boo’s financial infotainment wherever they go.”
Minyanville creates videos that target everyone from kids to sophisticated investors. It currently has content distribution deals with FOX Business Network, Yahoo Finance, T.D. Ameritrade, Dow Jones MarketWatch, Bloomberg and others.
