Guessermania Founder Says He’ll Make You Rich!

ADOTAS – Want to get rich quick? Check out new site Guessermania and give it a whirl. Founder Yuriy Setko was inspired by the ever-burgeoning online advertising market to create the site – and his goal is sell it for $1 million dollars and to share it with virtual “shareholders” who garner Guessermania Dollars by winning games (no actual investment required).

Setko admits that his goals are ambitious, but insists he isn’t delusional. He said his ad model was designed to maximize the number of impressions per user per day – Setko insists a conservative estimate would garner 100 impressions on Guessermania per day – and with 1,000 active users, the site would be able to return $1 million in less than three years. With 10,000 users – four months.

• Right now, at the beginning of 2012, what are you watching the most closely for its ad and marketing opportunities?

  • Mobile. Smart devices have become standard, and advertising is only going to become more creative there.
  • Online video. It's a real competitor to TV now, and it presents really interesting ways to engage viewers.
  • Social media. The new Facebook timeline and the surge of Google+ have cracked the game wide open again.
  • Tempting as it might be, I don't want to get too involved in one aspect.
  • See, I think this might be a good time to see what would happen if we revisited MySpace, but made the ads slightly bigger... with more strobe effect.
