Blue Sky Factory Snags nTarget
ADOTAS – Email marketing provider Blue Sky Factory has scooped up another email marketing firm – nTarget. The acquired company specializes in electronic communications that focus on hospitality, travel/tourism, retail and ecommerce – the same vertical sectors Blue Sky specializes in. Financial details weren’t disclosed.
“While we have always serviced the travel/tourism and hospitality industries, we are now poised to serve a larger concentration of industry providers,” said Greg Cangialosi, president of Blue Sky Factory. “We are constantly looking for viable ways to offer our email marketing technology to marketers seeking the best way to send permission based messaging. Our acquisition of nTarget is a win for us, but also for all of our combined clients, new and long term, who depend on us to power their email campaigns and help them build one-to-one relationships with their core subscribers.”
The acquisition will also help Blue Sky build out its capabilities before the release of an upgraded version of its self-service email marketing tool, Publicaster, this summer.
nTarget will merge its roster of clients (including Cracker Barrel, Nassau Paradise Island and Columbia Hospitability) under the Blue Sky brand. nTarget’s employees will also be absorbed by the company.
The Targhee Group, an investment firm, assisted in the transaction.
