Yodle Calls in Reinforcements To Grow Biz
ADOTAS – Local interactive advertiser Yodle Inc. has announced another hiring blitz to help drive the company’s strategic growth.
Tom Hubbard joins Yodle as director of optimization; he hails from Amazon, Inc., at which he managed the development and optimization of their third-party display ad platform. At Yodle, Hubbard will lead R&D efforts to advance the company’s optimization technology and bidding algorithm.
Todd Herrold joins the company as the general manager of its network; previously, he was the director of product management at Register.com. In his new role, Herrold will spearhead Yodle’s distribution strategy.
Brian Battjer is Yodle’s new director of product management; he has worked at MeetUp.com, AdBrite, Community Connect, Inc. and Spring Street Networks. Battjer will guide product strategy for Yodle.
Brook Shephard is now the director of search marketing for Yodle; previously, he worked at SendTraffic.com. Shephard will help build Yodle’s performance optimization team.
Yodle says its approach to simplifying interactive advertising for mom-and-pop shops has driven 700% year-over-year growth; the company’s team has also mushroomed in that time – from 13 to 130 employees.
