PopularMedia Helps Advertisers Leverage Chatty Cathies

viralsmall.jpgADOTAS – Pssst, have you heard? Launching word-of-mouth marketing campaigns has become de rigueur for interactive advertisers. PopularMedia, a social media marketing solutions provider, has announced the launch of a new suite of products to help advertisers maximize the impact (read: boost the revenue) of word-of-mouth channels through social networks.

“Marketers and publishers alike are wrestling with how to monetize social media,” said Jim Calhoun, CEO of PopularMedia. “Our suite of solutions are proven to deliver more value to advertisers, more engaging experiences for consumers, and better results through the power of predictive analytics and optimization.”

The suite allows interactive marketers and agencies to publish, measure and optimize online word-of-mouth programs by targeting influential consumers in social networks and facilitating “sharing” through e-mail, blogs and social network sites. The company’s products can be delivered on a Software as a Service platform – essentially, it combines PopularMedia’s social and viral marketing tools in one place and adds some fancy new ROI-raising

To date, PopularMedia programs have reached more than 40 million consumers, the company said. IGG.com, Oddcast, Omaha Steaks, Shoebuy, and Zecco are just a sample of customers, agencies and partners that have identified influential consumers and are generating real ROI through PopularMedia’s solutions.
