Nurun Snags Grey Group Exec To Grow Digital Biz
ADOTAS – Global interactive advertising agency Nurun Inc. has named Steve Carbone president of North America, a newly created position. Carbone will spearhead the company’s strategic growth, identify investment opportunities and client direction with a focus on the United States and Canada.
“One of the agency’s objectives in 2008 is to strengthen our positioning in the United States,” said Jacques-Hervé Roubert, CEO of Nurun Inc., in a released statement. “An integral part of that strategic priority involved creating the position of a president in North America and hiring an individual with the leadership skills and passion not just for marketing, but who understood the convergence of consumers, advertising and new digital mediums.”
Carbone hails from Grey Group’s G2 executive team. He launched the company’s interactive business, Grey E Marketing.
“Going forward at Nurun, our focus will be to combine forward-thinking, innovative concepts with our IT expertise to produce creative and technical solutions through digital channels,” Carbone said. “It’s an exciting time to be a part of a pure-play interactive agency which, more and more, is becoming the lead agency for marketers.”
Nurun is a subsidiary of Quebecor Media Inc., a global technology company. Nurun’s clients include L’Oreal, AT&T, Home Depot, Microsoft and Telecom Italia.
