Film.com, RollingStone.com Get Social With Pluck
ADOTAS – Pluck Corp., a social media services provider, announced a deal to power social media capabilities for Film.com and RollingStone.com – representing a combined monthly audience of more than 10 million.
“Our primary focus is delivering the very best in high-quality social entertainment and editorial content to millions of viewers online,” said Elizabeth Coppinger, vice president of video services for RealNetworks, which owns Film.com and operates RollingStone.com. “The integration of the Pluck social media tools throughout RollingStone.com and Film.com expands how people engage with our content, our brand and one another.”
Pluck SiteLife powers RollingStone.com’s recently re-launched fan forums and the comments and recommendations forum on Film.com, allowing music and film buffs to exchange battle it out over everything from Old 97’s latest release to Iron Man.
The platform powers more than 1 billion social media interactions per month and is used by several leading publishers and brands from USA Today and Conde Nast to Scotts and Circuit City.
In March of this year Demand Media acquired Pluck for about $75 million in cash.
