Creative Ad Work Being Outsourced: Report
ADOTAS – Say goodbye to caffeine-fueled all-nighters spent producing interactive ads … outsourcing has hit Madison Avenue, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Interactive marketers are now shipping creative work abroad – to places as far flung as Bulgaria and Costa Rica and Ukraine. The firm avVenta ships its work abroad for clients like General Motors and Microsoft because the company gets the same work for about 20% to 50% less, the Journal reports.
Digitas has even created a digital production company, the aptly named Prodigious Worldwide, to oversee its outsourcing efforts.
