ADOTAS – Yahoo Inc. has cobbled together another ad partnership. First Google, and now CNET. This particular deal involves less experimentation, more commitment: the companies have agreed on a three-year content, interactive advertising and search marketing partnership.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. CNET will provide content to Yahoo sites and cross-sell advertising. The venture will launch in the third quarter and CNET hopes to rake in about $100 million over the three-year partnership.
CNET has been under pressure from investor groups to expand its online advertising platform.
