Superpages.com Moves To Boost Ads, Engage Customers
ADOTAS – It seems Superpages.com has torn a page from Matchpoint president Peter Adams’ play book! The company today announced a new venture that will allow local businesses to interact with their customers and promote their services online under a new application called “Post a Business Reply.”
The link is located next to each review and replies will appear under the corresponding review.
“The success of our enhanced content is one of the factors distinguishing ourselves from the competition,” said Robyn Rose, vice president of marketing for Superpages.com. “Businesses are recognizing the power of user reviews and actively interacting with their customers.”
A local business owner, Saul Flores, who runs Jacob’s Electrical Repairs in Forth Worth Texas has this to say about the new service: “The business reply function gives me great opportunities, one — to say thank you to my customers, and two – I always state what kind of service I did for that customer to ‘advertise’ the kind of work I can do. Also, I think it is beneficial for potential customers to see the interaction between the customer and the company.”
In addition to rating and reviewing local businesses, users can report incorrect business contact information and blog about a business. Other user-generated/enhanced content abilities, for both user and interactive advertiser, include options to contribute information about businesses, such as products, services, specialties, hours of operation, and photos of the business. So far, Superpages.com has more than 550,000 user-generated content entries.
