Marchex Inks Deal With Local Sites
ADOTAS – Local interactive advertising and content publishing company Marchex is adding a handful of new sites to its network of 150,000 through partnerships with Restaurant.com, Urbanspoon.com, Yelp, Priceline, and others.
Under the separate agreements, Marchex will ad more than 5 million reviews and ratings to its network, more than doubling its number of local business reviews to about 8 million. Marchex’s network sees about 26 million unique monthly users.
“These partnerships are a win for all companies involved; the rich local content adds to the scale and quality of Marchex’s local network and further enhances our position as a leading local information resource for consumers,” said Pete Christothoulou, Marchex Chief Strategy Officer, in a release. “In turn, Marchex’s local network expands our partners’ reach and awareness with local consumers and delivers targeted traffic deep into their Web sites.”
Marchex’s ad platform delivers search-and-call based marketing products and services for local and national advertisers.
