IDG Makes Ad Network For Bloggers
ADOTAS – Independant publishers who have an interest in growing their revenue and increasing their traffic, but have limited resources have been given an alternative today. The IDG TechNetwork represents publishers to well-known technology marketers who trust IDG to place advertisements in appropriate sites. In return, publishers receive a share of the revenue and gain valuable member benefits to help them grow their businesses.
Rich Miller, Editor-in-chief of Data Center Knowledge stated “Being a member of the IDG TechNetwork help me increase my revenue while allowing me to focus on our news coverage of the data center industry.”
The TechNetwork will represent independent technology site, user groups and bloggers to advertisers looking for maximum impact over a variety of tech categories. The IDG publishers’ content will be allocated to contextually relevant IDG media and partners. The network is being powered by Adify, a leader in vertical ad network solutions.
Kevin Normandeau, VP of Sales and Business Development at IDG said “The Web allows a lot of talented writers to build a large following of important buying audiences. Yet, in many cases these independent publisher do not have enough resources to generate the true revenue potential of their brands. IDG has the publishing resources, market knowledge and credibility with advertisers to help these publishers grow their revenues and build their businesses.”
Some benefits for advertisers include detailed information regarding the sites and audiences in each ad buy and the ability to develop custom marketing programs that go beyond banner placements. Benefits for independent content providers include increased traffic from services such as SEO and content syndication and increased revenues and access to major technology advertisers.
